Default What should I get?

Im between Turbo Tech turbo kit with the T-76 and the D-1SC procharger. Both will cost me around the same price, but i still could sell my LT's for good money. My AIM is to make more power at 8psi for now(stock motor with only a Cam). I have seen some guys here with the T-76, but from what i understood they had to change alot of things to make 500rwhp.... On the other hand with the procharger im going to install a FMIC and get over 500rwhp easy running 8psi. So help me decide guys?


Oh by the way, the car is setup for road course racing. So i need something that doesnt overheat.

I didnt change a whole lot on the turbotech kit to make my 512rwhp (on the mustang dyno). I just added a 2.5" X-over, with ofcoarse my 9.0:1 built engine running 10psi.

with stock engine you will have a hard time getting 500rwhp with out the use of race gas.

Is the X over in the exhaust or what? and why would i have a hard time getting 500rwhp with 8psi on stock C/R and a good tune? I saw few D-1SC getting 500rwhp with 8psi and a cam.

crossover from the passenger side to driver side log on the single kit.
i havent heard alot of people making 500RWHP with pump gas on a ATI, maybe a few few good heads, good cam , and free flowing exhaust with the stock CR.
with the turbo tech on stock engine and pump gas people can make around 470 to the wheels. Maybe with a good set of heads and a good cam the'd be close to 500
but with a turbo yoyu can tune it for pump gas then when you go racing throw in some race gas and crank up the boost.

I would think that for road racing you would want a blower car by default. At high RPM's, you will always have boost when you nail it. A turbo will need time to spool, and that will hurt you roadracing. For all around performance, though, I'd go for the turbo.

Thanks smokin, I still need more people to give me their thoughts on both setups... Oh by the way... does ur car overheat by any chance? Have u ever taken ur car to a road course?
