first pass new combo

yes i have a wideband, i let the car run closed loop full time.
on the dyno i was targeting about 10.6:1 and at the track on the low boost it was about 11.5. Timing on the dyno was 14* at 21psi and something like 20* at 13psi
the pass was a 1.52 but it spun right at 60' or so.

Looking good and effortless as always!
The plug color looks good aside from one or two that might be just a touch rich.
The fuel used will change the color of the plugs a little too.
What fuel are you running?
At WOT the ground strap will develop a triangular "blued" heat mark from the
temperature of the chamber.
Ideally, I think this mark should be at at the center of the bend of the side electrode.
The "heat mark" on your ground strap suggests maybe a little too much timing.
If there is not enough timing, the mark will move close to the end of the strap.
As things get hotter, (over advanced) the mark moves toward the threads.
This is assuming they were pulled immediately, post WOT shut down.
As others have mentioned, the plugs need to be fresh before a full pass for accurate results.
If they have seen street duty, ditch em and start fresh!
Ask me how many sets I went through in my old SBC with a Procharger.....
Your ride is an awesome setup that ain't afraid to be driven. Badazz...

oops, my pistons are weisco, not coated.
fresh plugs, yup, fresh when the engine was installed 600 miles ago. wont need another set till next season they were certainly driven to dinner and then home before the plugs were pulled.
at the track i was on a mix of 93, methanol, and 110 leaded. for the dyno i mixed in some more 110 for safety.

Hay MightyMouse can I interest you in a possible car switch for a beautiful red 02 WS6 with a wonderful stock ls1, has headers and loud exhaust. Now don't worry I know I am doing you huge favor by taking all that unwanted horsepower off your hands but it is something I want to do just for you man. LOL
Seriously very nicely done and it only proves you can have a 9 second DD.

yes same turbo as last year no mods other than the hot side blanket.
yes i really like the brake, i was on it on that pass for maybe 3 seconds. my only gripe is that the brake hooked to the trans causes a big delay in the trans selecting reverse gear... just have to wait for it...about the same amount you have to wait for it to get into trans brake mode.
dmh was supposed to build me a 4" cutout a couple years ago. he never got up off his hands so i bought a qtp... which i dont like either, but i need something.
something in the switch is messed up, its intermittent, so far the motor and butterfly is holding together.
lee, yes its on the old 3.42 12 bolt still. midwest has been working on my rear for about 5 months now. so far i have axles.
