I never had a problem running 2 bar SD on my 98 PCM? HPT has had 2 bar SD available for a while now.

You would have to re-pin the PCM connectors, run a later model PCM, and have a fuel-seg from an Express Van swapped in to make the fuel gauge work.

Other than that, there is HPT...

Kinda similar question (not really ) I did a 98 to 99+ swap where I replaced the 98 engine harness to the newer one and replaced the pcm. I just rewired the connection points under the passenger side dash where the engine harness comes through. My car is tuned and runs good, but, what can I do about my fuel gauge (as it doesn't work). I was going to switch to a plastic 99+ tank and fuel pump but, I just saw you post something about a Van swap. And info that might be of use to me?

Thanks,

The main reason i went with EFI Live to begin with is because of the COS5 which is the Nitrous Operating system (for use in my 418 car)

This sucks, lol... why cant EFI Live come out with a solution for 98 cars.

You just need to have someone with hptuners tune the car 2 bar SD, lol. Running a larger maf does nothing as the g/sec limit is in the pcm. There are tons of ways around that also, but the tuning of choice is SD. Reply to my pm on LM?

I am still running the stock maf and '98 pcm...I max it out around 3,000rpms if not before....but I just spray a bunch of meth and watch my AFR's and don't worry about what the maf or pcm is thinking. It's not the right way or the safe way but it works.

And fwiw, Frost can almost make your car talk with his laptop and mad tuning skills.
