Magnuson question Hey Guys,
LS series newb here with a couple questions.
I know for me the magnuson kit is what I'm after, I don't have dreams of a 9 second car, and I'll never build an LS engine with forged internals. Instant torque and tire burning launches are what I'm after.
My question is this. I understand that LS2 heads will bolt up to our blocks and that they come in handy for supercharging because of the 72cc chambers, but will those heads bolt up to the same intake as the LS1 heads would ie the magnuson kit.
Even if they do would it even be neccesary to swap the heads to run more boost to reach my goal? I want to get all I can with a reasonable reliability margin out of a stock LS1 bottom end.
