Default how much ignition retard per psi boost ?

What kind of ballpark figure should i start with ?

i mean how much will i have to retard per given psi boost ?
If my ignition timing is correct for N/A and i add boost say 7psi-15psi-21psi
how much should i retard per given boost ?

Is there a general rule something like a formula eg. if i double atmospheric pressure (=15psi boost) i have to decrease pre ignition by half ?

thanks, Jeejee

there are too many variables to consider ,
things like compression , intercooling , and octane to name a few, will make a big difference on how much timing you can run.

yes i know, but i did not ask how much timing i can run with a given amount of boost, but how much the timing need to be retarded per given boost
because if i were to run a high(er) octane rating fuel, the initial correct N/A timing will allso be more, so the reducting in timing will likely be the same or very simular to a fuel with less octane

There is no general rule.
