3" vs 2.5" crossover, any difference in performance?
I've never heard of anyone using a 3" crossover even with big frame turbos. to my understanding for whatever reason it just doesn't work well and causes tons of lag. if the ohio boys and Stenod are using 2 1/2" crossovers on their 101mm+ turbos i see no reason why i would need anything more.

its really all perfrence on what you use i've known afew cars go 7's on a 2.5" crossover with a 406". your crossover isnt the restriction its the turbo. hell you can make over a 1000whp with 1 5/8" primaries on a turbo set up. the last two sets of headers i did had a 2.5" on it one has 1 7/8" primairy tubes with a 383" motor with an 80mm turbo and the other has 1 3/4" tubes with 355 and a 91mm on it. you'll hear a thousand different answers and you'll never know who is right but its easy to make aton of power
