How does it work with the grams/sec deal. Can you go over the air mass limit and still read accurately or does it come with a new sensor.

you speed speed density mode, so it eliminates the mass air from reading. You can also run a low impedence injector with it. I run a 83 lb injector.

408, it is not the sensor that you max, it is that you hit the roof of the acceptable inputs the computer can receive from the MAF. once you meet that maximum which for 98's is 1250hz and for 99+'s is 12khz then you can really go no further having the maf tune for you and have to start adding additional fuel on your own in your choice of a few fuel tables. there is really nothing more you can do with a stock computer unless you have a separate frequency adjustment somewhere in-between to modify the output signal to the computer to an acceptable level. this or install a completely new maf that outputs an acceptable frequency range (i.e. pro m)

myself am currently running a stock computer, stock maf and calibrating for fuel manually in the power enrichment table.

if that is not for you then the sky is the limit, there are many good aftermarket engine control systems available, the only drawback is working out what it will control and what the stock computer is left to control.

Thanks, i knew the limit was in the computer. I was just wondering how some people got away with running more hp. then the computer could read. You pritty much answered my question with recalibrating the maf. By doing that doesnt it require redoing some of the tables to add more fuel. I am not 100% on how rescaling it effects the fuel curves already set.
