Mightymouse Help - speed ink fuel rails i was putting on my speed ink fuel rails and ran into the same problem you did with my alternator relocated.
how did you get it to fit. im far from clearing

well i just kept grinding away on the plastic cover with my dremel until i could get the bolts in of course
you expected some high tech approach? hehe..
actually if you want you could go buy a replacement alternator for a 97 bravada.. its the same alternator but the black cover on the back is much smaller, and it doesnt have that part of it you have to hack off for the install allready..
so for the re install of my kit i swapped alternators with my mom's bravada and was planning on it fitting without incident.
if that doesnt work you may have to look into finding a tighter turning fitting.. last effort past that is take the rail to a machine shop and have some material removed off the end to shorten it

Well, I'll probably wind up just carvin plastic instead of swapping alts or cutting fuel rails.

i got some 8an hose to 3/8 pipe right angle conector on order, instead of the 8an right angle fitting, then the adapter. ill probably grind away that plastic, as i dont have a bravada avalable. i thought that is what i would have to do.
