where do the vacume lines go.........

Default where do the vacume lines go.........

that are on the top and the side of the wastegate?

Assuming you have an external wastegate, IE deltagate, racegate, HKS, Tial, etc....

The bottom hole, probably on the side of the gate, goes to "pressure" Ideally you tie the bottom port to the turbo outlet itself. You can go to the manifold, but you can get into compressor surge at lighter throttle. But, it does make up for any intake/intercooler pressure drops that way.

The top port is either open to atmosphere, or connected to a manual boost controller. Don't just plug the hole, can cause the gate to respond slowly or not at all.

now, what if you didnt connect the outlet of the waste gate to exhaust and just let it blwo right out, that would give it an extremely loud turbo sound right?
