Default how did you plum for oil?

did you just put 2 fittings in the oil pan/block, does one need to be higher or lower or more toward the front or the rear? would it be possible to make an external oiling system for the turbo?

The feed to the turbo(s) should either come from the small block off plate above the oil filter or you can Tee in at the oil pressure sending unit behind the intake. The plate above the oil filter is the easiest. You can take it off and drill for an 1/8" NPT fitting. There is enough meat in the plate, and the begining of the hole is already cast in. The gasket is re-usable as well.

The drain needs to go into the pan above the oil level, or at least above the oil pump pickup. As long as the turbo itself is far enough above the oil level in the pan you can drain into the pan a little below the oil level. The thin section at the front of the motor is a good spot.

good luck

then you need a pump to pump it back into the pan.

could you have an electric pump and just use an alternate oil tank?, say a 1 or 2 gallon tank, does anybody even make an electric oil pump?

The Incon kit came with a tilton electric pump which is junk. A lot of people including me use the weldon 9200 differential/transmission oil pump. It about $400 but is reliable and adjustable. You could come up with a alternate oil tank, but the oil coming out of the turbo is not really pressurized. If you wanted a self contained oil system you would need two pumps. One to pressurize to the turbo and another to get the oil to the tank. The only time you would not need the second pump (turbo to tank) would be if you gravity drained to the tank or tanks.

Its very easy and reliable to go off the block off plate above the oil filter and then pump the oil from the turbos back into oil pan. With a pump you can even pump back into the oil pan below the oil level, i.e. in through the drain or use the oil level sensor port.
