Default P101 MAF Performance after D1SC installation

Has this happened to anyone else. I know it means poor MAF performance. Could this be a bad MAF or do I need to change something. BTW I'm using a stock MAF that has less then 1k miles on a 02 Z-28 with 6k miles. TIA

You have to tune it out.

The code basically says that the MAF reading is out of tolerance for the 'expected reading'. You car looks at the MAP, TPS, and RPM, and knows a ball-park figure for how much air the car is suppose to flow. The MAF is then allowed to report a value that deviates a certain percentage from this 'expected' value.

Supercharges, naturally, throw this all out of whack. Just check the MAF for any obvious damage, make sure the car is running fine, and if you don't find anything have it tuned out.

Kevin, thanks.I have looked at the MAF and it looks like new.The car is running fine and I had it dyno tuned last week.Nothing was changed on the MAF table. Is this where you think a change is needed?I have Edit.BTW the code set both times as I was accelerating but at 0# boost.

The table to modify is in the test parameters tab of the diagnostic section of ls1 edit.

QuickSilver,I see that my Calculated Airflow has been changed.Would you say I need to get those values closer to reality or just widen the maximum allowed error. Thanks

Widen the maximum allowed error to something unobtainable.... like 200%. You are basically disabling this monitoring of the MAF.
