supercharge candidate If I already have a fairly strong H/C setup with all supporting mods, is it worth it to add a supercharger (say a maggie) considering the "debatable" approx. 500 hp limit on the stock block (mines a 98). I'm running 10.9-1 with my head combo (which I am just not interested in swapping out) that I MIGHT be able to offset with meth injection. I'm making 414 (563 on spray) with the TC unlocked, and I'm just not sure if it is worth $5,000-$7,000 (used maggie) to either grenade the engine, or make just an additional 90hp.

With that compression you would certainly need meth injection, however I think with a maggie set at say 5-6 psi max you would easily be over 500 rwhp. Its up to you though it sounds like you have a good N20 setup so unless you feel the need to go FI I wouldnt unless your willing to look into either a forged bottom end or a new heads/cam setup. JMO.
