Procharged GTO -- Oil Leak?
I picked up a week ago today a Procharged GTO
I went to change the oil today, I removed the skid plate and there was oil all over everything. The skid plate basically acted like a splash guard
I checked the engine oil and it was low, but not overly low.
The car hasn't blown the dipstick out, but it doesn't have a breather or anything on it either.
Where could the oil come from? Nothing uptop has oil on it.
I'm assuming this is from free reving the car
(hey, its new, i couldn't help it)I think I just have excessive crank case pressure....does everyone agree?
Throw a breather on where you poor the oil in? Anybody have a part number for one that will thread in?
So where is the oil coming from?
I'm not overly concerned the car runs great...I just think that it needs a breather...what do you guys think?
Car is running about 8-9psi
Thanks guys!
Here is the valve cover breather.
I would clean everything off with engine degreaser, and keep a good eye on where the oil is coming from.
Have you checked the oil level in the ProCharger? Bob
You know this car, the previous owner had you guys do a lot of work to it

I think he might have done the Procharger install, not sure, but you guys did the tune, clutch etc.
But I didn't check the Procharger oil level, since I was changing it out anyways. But as I said, the engine oil was low, so it was def. that. Plus it didn't have that blue'ish tint that the Procharger oil has.
