Does this make any sense to anyone? I bought a huge ATI intercooler from ATI, that is supposed to support a 1,000hp. Anyway, ever since I have purchased this cooler I have had belt slippage problems. 3 pulleys and 5 belts later, I still have the same problem.
I called ATI about this and they said that it is normal. They have had problems with the intercooler and smaller pulleys. The tech went in to a huge speach and explained the physics of it. Why the head unit takes more power to turn the blower and why I should keep the stock 8lb pulley on. It will make around 3-4 pounds more boost with the intercooler and the 8lb pulley. It made sense at the time but the longer I think about it, the harder it is to believe.
