Oil supply line question

I am doing a single turbo LQ4.
There is a brass plug(5/16" allen key) in the block just above the oil filter location near the oil temp. sending unit.
Can this be used for a pressurized oil supply line to lube the turbo?

I believe that is unfiltered oil at that point.
Tap into the 2 bolt block off plate above the filter.
