Default Cam for MP122 Overdriven

My original 408 AFR headed motor is still running strong at 530rwhp everytime. Its time for a change.I bought a MP112 that I upgraded to a overdriven 122.I currently have wiseco -8cc pistons sticking .010 out of the hole with milled AFR 225s .018 so they should be at 62cc's with a TSP 248/254 cam.Compression right now im figuring close to 12 to 1. I plan to change the 225's with big chamber 72cc AFR's to bring the compression down. How much will it bring it down? I am also looking for a new cam to replace the TxGiant as it will not work with the blower. I want that almost stock idle feel with little lope but noticeable, very comfortable to drive out of town with my AC.Comfort is the most important thing right now as Im a little tired of the big cam thing already. I just want to hear that blower whine pushing at least 10lbs and Ill be happy.
Any help on cam specs, compression suggestions are welcomed. I will fabricate the build myself with pics on how to install the 122 on a fourth gen. Any tips on lowering the K-member are also welcome. I want this conversion already and Im going to do it myself. The blower is based on a GTO kit that I bought and upgraded from a friend of mine.

Both of those cams are to small to be ideal for a 408. They would work well on a 346 set up tho. I would think something more towards the 23x/23x range would work much better and still be very tame on a 408. I'm no expert tho.

i would stay in the 224-228 range even with the cubes. The Mp122 is not capable of moving much air and is frankly undersized for a mild 408. I imagine 650whp could be attained at most while still using pump gas. Any more and the hot air that this blower will be moving will warrent running race fuel or lots of meth.

A 62 chamber to a 75 is only going to drop you, without checking exactly, about .5 down to a still-whopping 11.5:1. No way is that going to be safe with a Roots blower and no intercooler. You are going to need a piston change and possibly still the head change to get the CR down to closer to 9:1.

Should be fun after that though!
