oil lines for a turbo set up Is there anywhere on the engine I can run the return oil lines from the turbo to or do I have to tap the oil pan?
Where is the best/easiest place to hook up the oil pressue line going into the turbo. Right above the oil filter there is a block off plate. If I remove that plate will that be pressurized.

Re: oil lines for a turbo set up yes.. the QMP and TurboTech kit use the port above the oil filter.... just drill out the hole to whatever dia you feel is sufficient for oil your turbo/s... i think with a stock oil pump QMP runs a .050"-.070" hole... i think... MM and others?
And the return lines... well QMP and TT have it on the front bottom driver side of the oil pan.. see here: http://community.webshots.com/user/mightym0use

Re: oil lines for a turbo set up Are you using gravity drain or pumping back to the pan. If you are pumping back to the pan you can use the oil level sensor port or even the drain port.

Re: oil lines for a turbo set up I figured I had to tap the oil, just didn't want to belive it since I just bolted up the oil pan last weekend. O well I guess it's coming back off. The oil coming out of the turbo will be gravity feed, not pumped.
