I much can I clock the turbo before problems..... in order for my return line to have a downward slope to the scavenge pump, im going to need to clock the turbo at a "3:30-4:00" position. That way the oil will have a down hill slope to my pump. The 6:00 position puts the return outlet on the turbo at a lower point than my scavenage pump. And that would make it have a up hill slope to the pump. I cant move the scavenge pump any lower either. So I be ok at the 3:30-4:00 position?
30th, I had my old PTS kit clocked to about the 7 o'clock position give or take a little.
I ran a straight piece of pipe off the drain flange at the turbo and down to a small steel tank, than off the tank I ran the pump line.
FYI, at the 6 o'clock position the car would smoke if I hit the brakes hard on the freeway. So I clocked the turbo to the 7 o'clock position and at that point I had to hit the brakes really hard on the freeway to get it to smoke.
Also keep in mind I had a .58 nitrous pill in the feed line to my 76GTS.
