SEARCHED AND CAN NOT GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER c6 manifold ? when using c6 manifolds to do a turbo setup can you use both sides or does one side HAVE to be a truck manifold? Someone said that if you use both sides it interferes with the steering linkage but then someone also said it did not interfere. I searched and cant get a a straight answer. anyone done this?
it hits the steering shaft and the motor mount. The tab where one of the bolt passes through the C6 manifold touches a few things and you cant grind it because you will end up chopping off where the bolt is supposed to go. Passenger side it will fit with a tiny amount of modification, but it fits very snugly in there. I beleive i had them reversed and facing forward and only one of them fit on my 1999 Trans Am LS1 single front mount turbo setup....hope this helps some.
