Mechanically a 3-bar MAP is a direct replacement.

Courtesy of MM This is what he told me to do for installing my FAST 3 Bar MAP Sensor. Just run a small tube from this to the sensor

You can leave the stock map sensor in the hole and get reference from another port in the intake ...or just as posted above tap the hole for a fitting, looks to be 1/4 npt.

Is this a direct plug and play for an LS6? Sorry, don't know the difference between the back of an LS2 vice an LS6 which I have. I was under the impression that they are almost identical?

I have dozens of those on hand; they do NOT use the stock connector. The terminals aren't even the same. The factory uses Metri-pack 150 terminals and the MAP sensor uses standard Weatherpack terminals. Both the terminals and connector are different.

That 3-bar sensor uses this connector: http://www.lsxtune.com/shop/product_...roducts_id/464

The stock MAP sensor uses this connector:

I make a convo harness that plugs into the OE connector on the harness and will plug into this style of 2 and 3 bar MAP sensor.

It is plug and play on the LT engines. You will need the conversion harness on the LS engines.

They are reversed from the 1 bar to 3 bar.
On the 3 bar, you should have,
A-Black
B-Green
C-Grey

Good to see there is another option out there as well. It is a couple of bucks cheaper than the Speed Inc harness adapter.
