I have a couple gas stations here with e85, quite a bit cheaper than 91 octane, and probably quite a bit better on a turbo app (obviously). Will have to consider that for the bird. >=)

Chris,
Do you have the before and after for the IAT's? You have one hell of a vette! How does it handle on the street?

The IAT's were almost the same between fuels, the A2A is working hard. It is a blast on the street.

Awesome build and numbers

I've been debating a similar fuel pump setup but am worried about the noise of an inline pump...How loud is the inline bosch?

Noise is not bad at all. The only time you hear it is if it gets hot, usually from the tank getting low. No issues with the fuel system what so ever.

If you like E85, try to find some E98. I run it in my Supra and love it. On the dyno it made 890rwhp at 31psi and I run it at 35psi at the track. The ethanol tends to be kind to spark plugs too, I havent changed mine in 4 months and it is usually at least once a day to the track on race gas.

E85 takes about 30% more fuel than gasoline, and E98 is about 50% more fuel.

I wish we could get E85 around here. It's frustrating to see excellent results like this and know that you can't do the same thing.

Wow, I need to check out E98. What fuel pump are you using and lines?

I am using an aeromotive mechanical pump, and teflon coated lines. With my setup I am at 75% duty cycle on 6 160lb/min injectors. I would need 12 injectors to run methanol at the same power as methanol likes being way richer than E98.

If you have a local place that gets E85,you might try asking them if they can get E98. A local place near us gets E98 delivered and then adds gasoline to get to E85.
