D1SC boost question
Since you have the larger 4.5 inch intercoolers, I'm going to assume this is the eight rib kit with the larger 7.65 crank pulley. I would say it will make 12 to 14 psi of boost. Bob
its hard to really say, based on engine combos
my 6.0, with 9.2 comp, cnc'ed lq9 heads, d1sc, 8 rib, 4.25 pulley, vette front drive, with a carb-i saw 12.6 out of the supercharger (before the 3" 3 core sheetmetal i/c) and i read 9.8 under the carb (in the manifold) there was prob a little loss in the i/c, and the carb is a rest. also, so it was about right
switching to a 4" would gain me around 3 lbs
where do you guys read your boost on fi engines? after the throt. body?
