Default Timing chain question

Just curious to see what chains people are running and if they have had any breakage problems with them. Can give details on your power level and mods and even rpm limits and wether you have manual or auto trans. Manuals seem to be more likely to break chains with the infamous 3 to 2 shift likely being a cause in some cases. I need to get a chain right away and can't seem to make up my mind wether to get a single like ls2 or n motion or rollmaster or some doubler roller. I have the big melling 296 and not sure which double chains will work with it so was thinking just keep it simple and go single but am building a powerful combo here so maybe should get a double and clearance or whatever I have to do to make it work.

Manley double roller with about 25K DD miles (was a trex cam, but back to stock cam for now) has 7000rpm limit with a 6 spd.
