[QUOTE=Silver_TransAm;10210445]

bad2000z Ummmm I am pretty sure the turbo is a little easier on the engine than supercharger.

I said the blower will be easier on the DRIVETRAIN (tranny, rear, etc.) A turbo setup will produce much more bottom end, and peak torque, which beats the crap out of drivetrain components.

You only roll race? STS is the only way to go.

Personally I would only look at the APS or a Procharger D1SC. The sts kits do work but if you do play on upgrading your setup I think there are more quirks to work out of the sts system than the aps or procharger route. At 7-8 psi on a stock engine/tranny/rear will last a decent amount of time as long as your not beating the **** out of it. You will need a good clutch though because if your on the stocker it will be gone in an instant. I ran my stock clutch on my cam setup for like 2 weeks and it was toast. It all depends on what you want and if sts fits your goals then by all means go for it, I just prefer the aps/procharger route. Let us know what you choose though!

you really need to do a search on both of them to gather more information than one can post individually.

Turbo's are where they belong, near the engine, all manufactured/cast parts, very nice.

Isnt twin turbo too much for a stock car? Why isnt one good enough? Probly more expensive with two turbos also...

The difference is that an STS kit has the turbo mounted out by the rear bumper whereas the APS kit keeps the turbos up front. The twin kit from APS may be a little more expensive (not sure on the price of the sts now) but is a much better kit overall IMO. Twin turbos are not too much for a stock car, it just depends on how much boost you run. It can easily be limited to 7-8 psi.
