cooling fan question
cooling fan question i was wondering what would be a better setup, two 10inch puller fans, or 1 10 inch puller and a 14inch pusher, ive had over heating problems and can get another 10 inch puller and run two. or go with what i have, a 14 and 10inch fan. would a 14 puller and a 10inch pusher be better also. what orientation do you guys recommend. also two 10s pulling and a 14 pushing could also be an option.
What type of fan setup do you have now and what type of overheating issues are you having? I think that you should try two 10" pullers, maybe even 11" if you can fit them. Make sure that they have a shroud, as that realy helps. If you are still having overheating issues, then you can consider adding some type of pusher fan in the front, although I dont think it should be necessary. Also is your factory air damn still in place? I was chasing down a overheating problem for a while, and eventualy had to custom make a air damn/shroud in front of the radiotor which seems to be working well.
yeah i made a custom scoop out of stainless, im going to run two 10inch fans, i also am upgrading to a larger griffin, 27X19 with the 1.25 cores, will two 1150cfm pullers be enough airflow?
