Injectors, Long term storage
Injectors, Long term storage I'm wondering about fuel sitting in my LS1 injectors for a long period of time.
I bought a pull out that has not run in 5 months and I can't see myself being ready to fire it again for 5-6 months,...is there a way to flush out the injectors?.
This is the first FI hot rod for me, I don't want to be the guy pulling my hair out when it either dos,nt fire or worse,...runs like crap and I can't figure out what's wrong with a crescent wrench and a straight screwdriver.

Your best bet would be to send them to us for our reconditioning service now. Since they are used and will need it anyway, and, we cap our injectors while they are filled with test fluid, then vacuum seal them. After that theyre good on the shelf for a LONG time.
The LS1 uses a Bosch Design III which is rated for a very very long time. Much longer than the life of everything else on your car to be sure heh.
But, as always YMMV and there are failures that can happen.
For the injector service we charge $15 per injector, I can post up everything we will do if you like. And here is the info you need to print out and send in with your injectors, in the special notes make sure to mention you are from LS1tech and dealt with Rich to receive the shipping discount.
