Default Fuel cell

I planned to run an a1000 aeromotive pump, and my fuel cell has -8an fittings, but the pump comes with -10an's, question is, for 800-900rwhp, is -8an going to cause a problem? It's roughly 1/2", as opposed to stock 3/8 (67 bird), and -10an is almost 5/8". Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

i have a 490bbc with 50lb injectors and had a a1000 on the fuel cell with two 8an supply fittings that i Y block in to one 10an fitting to supply the pump but on boost of 15psi i maxed my injectors and fuel pressure drop VERY fast at 5000 no where near red line and only made 655hp at 11-10.8 afr

If that's the case, the Aeromotive 11104 may do the trick, 800lb/hr flow -12an inlet, -10an outlet, should be good to around 1100rwhp.

Or the pro series (althought not sure how long it'd last on the street), flows 1000lb/hr @ 45psi, and good for 1450BHP FI, 2000 EFI NA, with twin -12AN fittings. Costs twice as much as the A1000.

I would go with 2-bosch 044's myself. I have always heard that the A1000 would overheat when daily driving with them. I could be wrong though.

The only prob. I have with the magna pump is the continues run time is only 30-45min on a cool day ,its hard to cruise with this pump and not see a pressure drop from the pump getting hot

Ya know, I may just end up running twin 044's then, those units look like they'd be reliable since they're not working their *** off.

Where did you get that? I have seen guys run it on trips 3-400miles. It is a great street pump.
