98 Fueling question with evap as the return

The 4 lines on the top of the tank are 1 feed, 1 return, 1 to the Evap canister, and 1 which is an overflow, that just runs out on the ground if the tank is over filled, and heats enough to blow it out. The evap line from the front of the car doesnt run back to the tank but to the canister which can be found in the rear quarter panel on the drivers side. So you can't just run fuel into the evap line up at the fuel rails and expect it to get back to the gas tank. You need to reroute that line that goes to the canister(comming from the front of the car) to the top of the fuel tank where the evap line comes out of the tank to run to the canister, basically to bypass the canister. I've never done it, but Ihave droppped the tank on a '98 a couple times to change a fuel pump and that is how I remember it being plumbed.
