Default I Need Help With My FPR!

I have an Aeromotive FPR and my Fuel Pressure Gauge goes 0-60, when I start my car it bounces around 60 and pegs out. I try to adjust my pressure by turning the set screw both ways and my pressure doesnt go up or down. Any Ideas why I can't adjust?

Did you disable your factory regulator first? If not, you now have two regulators fighting to gain control of your system.

You've got one in the tank of the 98's that you should have removed completely if you were going external. And assuming you have gotten rid of the stock fuel rails as well. The other possibility is that your regulator diaphragm is busted. Are you connecting a vacuum source when setting it or no? If there is a vacuum source on it when you disconnect the line does fuel spray out?

If you still have the fuel pump basket in there then the regulator is still in the system. Are you coming out the bottom of the AFPR and returning back to the factory "T" that goes back to the tank? If so that is your problem. Disconnect the return line and put it in a 5 gallon gas can. Key the pump on and you should be able to adjust pressure now(Be careful not to blow yourself up). Just take the regulator out of the basket and you should be good to go.
