Default Return Sytem vs Non return

I noticed another thread here about how to convert to a "return style" fuel system. I must admit that I thought all f-body cars were of that style....but I guess I was mistaken. So....that being said, what is the advantage of converting to a return-style fuel system?

Someone care to enlighten me?

Also, I'm currently building a stroked and turbo'd lq4/l76/l92 engine and am curious as to what recommendations y'all might have for a complete fuel system. I'm building the car with "every-day driveability" in mind, and plan on running no more than 15 psi of intercooled boost.....probably more like 10psi. Premium pump-gas only is the plan...so we'll see just how close I actually get to my goal of 650hp to the pavement.

Shoot me some thoughts.

-Thanks

All f-bodies are return style, but the difference is where the regulator is located. The 98 up f-bodies have a regulator in the tank.

These do a good job of controlling pressure at the fuel tank where they are located, but unfortunately you need to control pressure at the motor. This way you can compensate for line restriction etc. & have stable pressure at the motor.

I offer complete systems for your application & will be glad to work with you to get the best system for your application.

Please give me a call to discuss your options.

I think Lonnie pretty much summed it up. The biggest problem with your factory system is the reg. in the fuel tank and not after the rails with a full length return line.
