AEM Controller and LS2 adapter harness feedback For those who have been debating getting this or who are interested, here is a little feedback. When I get good stuff I tell about it!
I recently bought an AEM converter, adapter harness, and 96lb injectors for the Goat from Lonnies Performance (EXCELLENT VENDOR). Let me just say that I wish I had done this before. The harness is made very nicely. All of the wire loom is done very cleanly and the ends are heat shrinked for a very nice final touch. All of the adapters are numbered for each injector. Basically, if you can number the cylinders on your motor then you can install this harness. From there, all you need to do is hook the lugs up to the battery cables, plug it in and you're done. Of course you need to use the zip ties that come with the kit to get everything where you want it and make a nice clean install. From there, Nick did a quick base tune on the car for the new size injectors and the car fired up better than it did with the smaller HI injectors. Of course there is plenty of more tuning being done next week to fine tune it all (pulley swap on the Procharger etc). Hopefully we will be hitting the rollers next weekend.
Bottom line is that I hate wiring projects but this was as simple as it gets. Plug and play all the way!
