problem with fuel pump

problem with fuel pump got a problem with my walbro fuel pump we just installed. the tank says there is a little bit more than a quarter tank of fuel but when i floored it it dident go it was starving for fuel. i put more fuel in it and the power was awsome.this is a 98 t/a with h/c. then from a dead stop it started to miss up top. i looked at the alternator and when at wide open throttle the voltage dropps to 11v. the alternators is new i think its a reman. anyone have and suggestions on where to start trouble shooting
I'd start with finding out why the voltage is tanking...Then, worry about the fuel.
A 1/2 volt drop in volts to the pump will create serious volume loss..
That voltage should be at least 12.8 at WFO..

NO my tuner didnt install an upgraded wiring harness...he said hes never had a problem with them....could this pump be draining my the volts at wide open throttle....we filled the gas tank all the way and ran 8 good pulls on the street the volts still dropped way down but the car ran good and didnt act like it was starvin for gas no check engine lights like before.

Did he datalog the pulls?
An upgrade of the FP harness is always a good idea w/ an upgraded pump...

im goin to hook it up to a gauge and see what it does at wide open throttle. i think somethings up with the way it was installed cause it seems to do good until the gas dropps a bit under half a tank
