Fuel pump or....
Fuel pump or.... My issue is this, at 7000 rpm Im at 80% duty cycle on 41# injectors. Stock LS1, 5X3, ported 241's, yada yada. Im pretty sure I shouldnt be anywhere near maxing out 41's N/A, correct?
My first thought is the car sat for 1.5 years so the pump is probably bad now. My second thought is maybe its just the fuel filter. Third would be the regulator but Ive never heard of one of those going out. Guess I should start with the cheaper $16 fix and see what that does.
I also did a search on the walbro direct fit pumps that keep the bucket full. I only found one thread on it with very minimal info. I guess everyone just goes with the racetronix kit for $20 more? WS6 store and Speed INC both had the direct fit 99+ walbro for $130ish but Idk how well they work. Is the Racetronix hotwire kit really needed with a new pump? I'll eventually get it all but money is tight right now since I havent worked more than 40 hours in 3 months. TIA for any help or advice.
