Default Difference in Tanks

I tried a quick search and couldn't find much, anyone know the exact differences in the LS1 and LT1 tanks...or the 99+ thanks and the 93-98 tanks?

All I know right now is the earlier ones are metal, the newer ones are plastic, the removable fill tube, and the size of them is different.

Is there any way for me to put a 99+ tank in my 95 car?

The tank is a bolt-in.

You wil need a different level sensor to make the gauge work correctly, plus an adapter harness to connect the tank. The regulator also needs removed from the tank.

Lines need modified to connect properly. You can get the LS1 supply line to the fuel filter & use it. The return line will ned extended to reach the LS1 tank.

I can modify LS1 pump/sensor & provide the modified wiring harness if interested. Feel free to give me a call at 724-322-8505.
