Default Any Issues with Walbro 255s

Just got my car back for doing a Cam swap..At the shop the stock pump took a **** a day after the car was done. No big deal put a new pump in it, they said get a Walbro, they put a new one in. The stock one was jumping from around 30-50 lbs when it would work. The new one holds 60 all day. With the new pump it ran a day and I drove it an 1hr or so and parked it, now I have no pump..No pressure at the rail..odd how it works for a day and then nothing..Is it a chance that maybe the new pump is bad? Checked fueses, all good. Relays maybe?

A buddy of mine that had a similar issue found out that the connection on the back firewall was loose... He just bent the female pins in a little so it would make good contact, not a problem since..

The last 2 years I have been thru 3 walbros, I since changed out to the racetronix fuel pump and harness.

Pump could be bad, but it could be many things.

There are counterfeit pumps & also a few Walbros that are not suited for your application, though they are sold as a replacement for your car by various shops.

Also there are some kits out there whch use rubber hoses & also omit the venturi system. You get what you pay for.

Not sure what you have or how it was installed.
90% of the problems are from poor install or improper application.

I've had excllent luck with the Racetronix kits I've used over the years & only sell these kits for a reason.... they work & do not cause me problems.
