No Fuel Pressure. NEED HELP!!
No Fuel Pressure. NEED HELP!! So i went to the track a couple weeks ago and the car was running almost half a second slower then what i thought it would do. Left the track made one stop to eat got back in the car started it and had low fuel pressure, 20psi. Went home and installed a new walbro fuel pump. The car wouldnt even start after the new pump. Put in a new fuel filter and still nothing. Bought a new fuel pressure reglator for the tank and the car started but only at 52psi. Drove the car around for 15 min got home and it was back down to 20 psi. This is where i am now. plugged in the scanned and it had code p0108, something to do with the MAP sensor. Could a bad MAP sensor have to do with not keeping pressure? Thanks.
Did u use the rubber hose walbro sent? I just did a walbro in mine 3 weeks ago..and I was busting the rubber hose they sent. Been though 3, if it breaks again Iv been told to change back to the clear hose taht was on there from the factory and flexes..Howd it run in the 1/4 if you dont care that I ask..similar set ups..like to get a guess..
im using the same type of hose but i got it from westlake bc the one they sent me seemed to be to short. well the night i started loosing pressure i ran 12.4@114 with a 1.8 60'. i figured it would at least be 12.0 in this heat. hmm thats funny i was just donw at the ozarks this pass weekend.
I lost all fuel pressue with mine becaues of the hoses busting but idk about the MAP. Maybe you need to check your pump relay? Easy cheap part..My turd went 12.6s with a 2.2 60 before I did the Cam swap.. I was hoping for 11.8s-12.0s with stock rear. Needin a 12 bolt with gears bad! What brought you down here? Did you have your car tuned in KC? Id like to get another person to play with mine and see if I can get anymore out of it..

ok ill check all the relays and the hose. what kind of cam is in yours? ya a good rear is nice. i got a 9'' in mine. my grandma has a lake house down there at the 35 mile marker. there is a guy here in kc that does alot a lsx tuning. dlove, he is on here also.
