Default Racetronix hotwire observation

I relocated my battery to the rear when I did my custom turbo install, it's been there for 20 months no hotwire kit. Under idle with IATs between 105 and 115 or so, the AFR would read around 15.5 or higher. With hotwire kit installed, my AFRs are a rock steady 14.5 -/+ .3 105 IATs or higher.
My theory is, the battery in the rear, lost some power with the power getting routed back the front.
Just my observation...

Default

with the hotwire kit, there is probably less voltage drop...i don't remember the factory size wire, but the smaller the wire, the more resistance. that hotwire kit is supposed to be direct battery voltage also.
