Fueling Problem.....Help

Fueling Problem.....Help Ok, when ever the camaro gets to about a half tank or lower and I go to fill up I can't. It spits everything out. I start pumping and it all runs out and down the car. I have to wait a few hours like the car need to cool down.....then I can fill up with no problem......any Ideas?
