Default What will an A1000 support with FI and E85?

I've got a brand new A1000 for my 370 turbo build, but I'm thinking of running E85 now. Going for 750rwhp through a TH400. Do I need another A1000 or just sell mine and buy a pump that will flow enough? What single pump would do it?

E85 takes about 30% more fuel. So if a A1000 is good for 1000hp forced induction EFI on gas it will support 700hp on E85. Looks like you will need to step up to the 11104 pump.

That pump requires their speed controller. Another chunk of change I don't want to spend. Uggh. I think I might just get another A1000 and run it off a pressure switch to come on at 2 psi.

There A1000 also requires a speed controller to perform on the street.

They list it as recommended on their website though? The Eliminator pump is listed as required. What's your experience with running them without one? I know you can get a pulse width modulator off ebay for less than a hundred bucks that does the same thing as their billet controller. Just doesn't look as neat as what they sell.

Which one would you recommend for 1100hp at the crank with gasoline? I'm going to be using a Procharger F-1C on the engine in my sig.

I daily drove my mustang with an external A1000 (12v system) without the speed controller. Just FYI

Pro tuner 1500hp would be more than enough.

They are slightly but not as bad as most comparable pumps. Rubber mounted they are quite quiet. There are moving a tremendous amount of fuel. You want reliable and quiet use our dual intank pump setups up to 1000rwhp+
