walbro pump sock question

Default walbro pump sock question

I have a walbro gss342 fuel pump that i bought years ago but now that im putting it in my 95 trans am i need a pump sock for it will the stock one work? Also can i use butt connectors for the wiring to the pump since mine didnt come with a wiring harness?

you can go to a autoparts store and they can size one up that will work. Thats what I had to do to get a sock to fit the walbro 255. the sock that came in the kit was the wrong size. For the wire connectors I would solder and shrink wrap the wires. I wouldn't use butt connectors on anything if i can avoid it. but thats just me.

on top of my pump i have two spades that a connector plugs into but i cannot source that connector so i was asking if the connection on your walbro was water prof or if i could use a set of fuel safe butt connectors.
