Default Throttle Body Question

I dont know if this is the place to post this or not but my question is.
I put a proffesional products typhoon intake on my ls1 camaro and
used the stock throttle body and everything was fine. Today I
put on the matched 85mm throttle body for the intake and the
throttle cable is not long enough. Also I noticed with the throttle
cable not hooked up just to see if everything was alright I
noticed when manually opening the throttle it would take
a few seconds for the engine to return to normal idle.
Anybody had this problem. Also will I have to tune anything after
his install as for as the tps or anything. Any Help Thanks.

The main problem right now is that the throttle cable is too short.
Why would it need to be longer. Shouldnt all of them be the same
for different throttle bodies

Im talking about the throttle position sensor, I remember on my old saturn you could loosen the two screws holding it down and it had a fair amount of play in it. Maybe its the same with the LS engine and the TPS isnt sending the right voltage to the ecm when the TB is closed?

Yea I know what you are saying about that but my question is
the throttle cable is not long enough to hook up to the new
throttle body. Are the ls1 throttle cables adjustable.

Are you sure it is too short. Did you open the throttle body up all the way when trying to attach the cable? If not, open the TB all the way up, attach the cable and then release. Now, is the blade still open? Or did it close?
