Default Vic Jr. Injector Problem help please!!!!!

Got a Vic Jr. on my car, I traded out the factory injectors (28.8's) for some Ford 30's because my car is lean, and the other person was running rich, so it seemed to be a good idea lol.

Now on to the issue at hand. The tip of Ford injectors (plastic piece that goes into the intake, (where the oring sits on) is too long.

Now for solutions.. get diff injectors? which i have but i dont have a tune for them as they are Cobra injectors out of a terminator car. File the plastic tip of the Ford injectors to make them fit, which wouldnt be much i dont think it wouldnt get into the injector at all, just the plastic piece. or get a tune for the 39lbs terminators?? kinda stuck i want to be able to drive it around a lil before getting it tuned cuz i have a couple things to buy before i get it tuned. let me know what you guys thing on this!! oh the terminator injectors fit also.. the tips are'nt as long as the red-top fords..

Can you post a picture of what piece is too long?
Aside from that, going from 28.8's to some used 30's might not be the best idea. I am not sure how much more fuel they will give you..Whats the duty cycle of the 28.8's under WOT? Are you trying to just give it more fuel without tuning?

post a pic of whats hitting .. the stock injectors are 28.8 only using fuel pressure of 58psi.. they are actually 24lb injectors. The fords are 30 @ 39.15.. they will be 36 at 58psi. so actually they are a good choice, but, i have installed them in the vic jr.

You need to tune it with any injector change. Get the injectors right for your setup and get a base tune to match before driving it anywhere don't want to see you wreck a motor.
