Im sorry if this is not the right section for the post...didnt see a more suited one...but anways. I recently purchased a 2002 T/A. And the service engine light came on the code read both cats. And bank 1 sensor 1. The guy at auto zone didnt know shi*. So i assume that is the o2 sensor upstream of the driver side cat?? And for the cats should i just do a delete or would it be worth replacing? There is no emission laws here.

bank one sensor 1 is the oxygen sensor that you need for your car to run Closed loop.

Don't delete it. Fix it. https://ls1tech.com/forums/pcm-diagnostics-tuning-7/
