disconnecting fuel line?
disconnecting fuel line? I have tried disconnecting the fuel lines for my heads/cam install and i cant do it. I already broke the EVAP and i am going to have to order another one. I bought the 3/8" tool from autozone its sorta like a wrench with a 3/8" on one end and 7/8" on the other. is this the right one? with the way the hard line curves the tool wont fit. any tricks? this is on a 01 camaro ss

sounds like the wrong tool.
you should have a fuel/AC quick disconect.
they are usally plastic, but the good ones are metal.

The metal one is completely useless. The plastic ones worked like a charm. Seriously, I tried disconnecting the fuel line with the metal tool for hours without any sucess. Took it back to autozone and xchanged it for the plastic ones. When using the plastic one it popd off in a matter of seconds. It was ridiculous. btw you can return the plastic tools when youre done for your money back. gotta love autozone.

I also tried the metal wrench looking tool and it did not work. I went to napa and got the plastic one and disconnected the fuel line in a couple seconds. Just go in and ask for the 3/8ths GM fuel disconnect tool and make sure it is plastic and does not look like a wrench
