Default running crazy rich
we just changed the fuel pump on my uncles 96 lt1 car.... he used the trap door method...install went fine to our knowledge... drove the car yesterday, (really the first time besides straight home after fuel pump install)) the car is running crazy, CRAZY rich...smoke like a diesel....throwing code for multiple misfire!!!! car ran fine before....checked fuel pressure and it was on the money!! no codes on o2's and they seem to be signaling!

??/ any way accidentally switching evap canister lines would some how make it run rich or something...

Pull the vac line off the regulator, and check to see if it has gas in it..
