Default Socketless Hose

Anyone use this or would consider using it? Seems to have the same ratings as the other stuff. Was think of putting crimp style clamps on.

Socketless hose? What do you mean? Where are you thinking about placing it?

Otherwise known as pushlock with various spellings. It works great and I really like it. The hose is very tough, fairly light and it and the fittings are pretty economical. Aeroquip's pushlock which they call socketless is my favorite. Then use redhorse fittings because they are cheap, pretty and well made.

It is fine to use for most anything you might plumb on a car except brake, clutch and power steering hydraulics.

I use it on my fuel system...no leaks so far. I've even seen it used for transmission cooler lines.
