Default gauge is not working

My fuel gauge on my 1999 trans am is not reading at all. What do I need to replace or look at to see what could be causing this problem. Thanks for all the help!

Usually the sender goes bad. to test it it is 40-250ohms. I can get replacement senders give me a call.

when you buy an aftermarket fuel pump does it usually come with the sending unit?

An aftermarket performance pump no. A parts store pump yes it should be the whole bucket.

ive got a spare autometer fuel psi wiring/sender.. everything that comes from autometer besides the gauge itself. PM me if interested
