Default Fuel pump Question

I have a 1995 Z28 Camaro LT1, it was running fine, until I let it sit up for about 8 months. Now the fuel pump wont make a sound or come on. I even tried applying voltage directly to the wire next to the ECM that bypasses the relays.
My question is can sitting up for 8 months without starting the car kill the fuel pump? Thanks for any ideas.

Yes sitting can freeze up a pump... especially if any moistire built up in the tank. You can try tapping the tank bottom wih a rubber hammer to see if it may get the pump working.

I have Racetronix pumps in stock if you want to get a good replacement.
