Default fuel pump pressure
Just purchased a 6.0 lq9 that will be going into a 72 suburban. Can an in line pump be used instead of an in tank? If so what pressure/gph do I need? The motor is stock.

You need 58psi to match the factory program for your motor.
a 255lph pump will work nicely.

You will need a regulator to control the pressure, the pump will not control the pressure.

If you are interested in a pump with harness & fuel fittings (or a complete line kit) , I can get you the parts you need. Feel free to give me a call.

about 43lbs is fine
