i have a 350 sbc with a cam and high compression pistons with vortec heads and its a older block and its going in my 96 silverado so i gotta do tbi so my question is instead of using a stock 350 tbi system could i use a throttle body and intake off a ls1?

 

If they made an ls1 intake that fit a Vortec head, then it would be feasible....but then you gotta control 8 injectors instead of 2 and that'd be another ballgame...

Lot of magic needs to happen before you can do what you're talking about...
